Job summary

Sun Tan City in Smyrna, TN is seeking a motivated Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, coach the team, and lead by example in daily operations to meet productivity and sales goals.

The role requires strong customer service skills, leadership, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement within Glow Brands.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members' daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Has reliable transportation to go to the bank as needed.
• Work five days per week, ~40–45 hours depending on status.
