Qualifications

• Six months as Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk role or equivalent Commonwealth job titles.
• Six months of retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Customer Support: greet customers, help find products, offer solutions when items are unavailable.
• Inventory Checks: perform daily spot counts and update records for overages, shortages, or breakage.
• Store Procedures: ensure staff follow opening/closing routines, secure money and systems, prep store for next day.
• Cash Handling: count funds, control access to safe, and prepare bank deposits.
• Register Operations: use POS tools, verify eligibility, resolve errors, and process sales.
• Merchandising Tasks: lead stocking, build displays, keep products organized and safe.
