Job summary

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) at our FW&GS Store in Mckeesport to guide staff, assist customers, and maintain smooth store operations.

Telework is not available. The role requires at least six months in a related liquor store or retail sales, PA residency, and the ability to pass a background check. Onsite parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk or six months of retail sales experience.
• Residency requirement for PA and ability to pass a background check.
• Essential job functions must be performable.

Responsibilities

• Customer support: assist customers and resolve concerns.
• Inventory checks: monitor merchandise and update inventory systems.
• Store procedures: ensure opening/closing and daily routines follow standards.
• Cash oversight: maintain cash counts, deposits, and safe access.
• Sales accuracy: operate registers and resolve price/product discrepancies.
• Staff direction: assign tasks, train new employees, oversee workflow.
