Job summary

HireLevel is partnering with a long-standing manufacturer seeking a Retail Sales Assistant in Valmeyer, IL. You will support sales by tracking contracts, processing orders by phone, fax, and internet, and coordinating deliveries.

The role requires an associate degree, 4+ years of sales support experience, and strong MS Office and accounting software skills. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with pay $22–$24 per hour and a 3- to 4-month contract.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, or related field, preferred.
• Four or more years of sales support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of office practices and MS Office software, and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Track & record customer contracts, including data entry of invoices related to contracts.
• Handle and resolve customer issues and follow up on past due accounts.
• Calculate commissions and other customer incentive programs.
• Reconcile accounts for accuracy.
• As backup for Switzer receptionist, answer main telephone lines promptly and professionally.
• Provide other assistance as needed.
• Process customer orders obtained by phone, fax and internet, including coordination of delivery and sourcing freight carrier.
