Louisa Foods is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to support contract tracking, invoicing, and order processing. The role begins in-office at our Valmeyer, IL location, with 2-3 days of work-from-home later as it shifts to a hybrid model. In 2027, the Valmeyer site will relocate to the St.

Louis, MO area (Overland). Qualifications include professional demeanor, strong communication, and 2+ years in sales support.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support functions include track and record customer contracts, including data entry of invoices related to contracts.
• Handle and resolve customer issues and follow-up on past due accounts.
• Calculate commissions and other customer incentive programs.
• Reconcile accounts for accuracy.
• Process customer orders obtained by phone, fax, and internet, including coordination of delivery and sourcing freight carriers.

NOTE: This position will start working full-time in-office during the first several months of training in our Valmeyer, IL (Rock City) location. Then it will turn into a hybrid in-office/work from home position with 2-3 days WFH. In 2027, the Valmeyer IL location will be moved to St. Louis, MO (Overland) area.

Job Duties

Sales Support functions include track and record customer contracts, including data entry of invoices related to contracts. Handle and resolve customer issues and follow-up on past due accounts. Calculate commissions and other customer incentive programs. Reconcile accounts for accuracy. Process customer orders obtained by phone, fax, and internet, including coordination of delivery and sourcing freight carriers. Will also perform additional assignments per management's direction, as needed.

Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
