Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys in Harrisonburg is seeking a Sales Supervisor to support daily store operations, drive profitability, and uphold company standards. You will lead staff, train cashiers and donation attendants, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes coaching, policy compliance, safety, and collaboration with store leadership to achieve sales goals and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and donors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Must complete required Goodwill training and CPR/first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors with prompt, courteous service.
• Lead, train, and coach team members in daily retail operations.
• Oversee pricing, sorting, and rotation of merchandise to standards.
• Monitor processing of donations and movement to sales floor or storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment across all areas.
• Schedule and coordinate breaks to ensure continuous floor coverage.
• Track daily sales metrics and report discrepancies to management.
• Complete daily operational reports including cash and donations.
