YOUR MISSION:
  • Ensure the Store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning, expense control, sales, and service.
  • Maintain high standards of customer experience in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards.
  • Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with customers, selling, and coaching employees.
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for high-performing, results-driven Associates.
  • Manage payroll control and create service-driven schedules to maintain profitability while providing excellent customer service.
  • Oversee Loss Prevention education and awareness programs, ensuring operational compliance and managing inventory and shrink goals.
  • Communicate merchandise opportunities and participate in store openings/closings; travel may be required.
  • Handle sales transactions accurately, operate POS system properly, and adhere to discount policies.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
  • Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.
YOUR TALENT:
  • 1-2 years of management experience in a customer service-focused retail environment, preferably apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals, provide high customer service levels, and communicate effectively.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds; comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
  • Strong sensory skills, cognitive abilities including reading, math, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
