Rack Room Shoes is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales at our Culpeper store. You will assist customers, process transactions, and uphold store policies with accuracy. You’ll help maintain product knowledge, stocking, visual standards, and promotions while supporting inventory and POS operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attentiveness to customers, and a positive selling environment to meet sales and work goals set by store management.

Qualifications

Interpersonal and communication abilities required for customer interaction.
Experience in retail sales, preferably in footwear or specialty retail.
Basic knowledge of store policies, procedures and merchandising standards.

Responsabilités

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through service standards and product knowledge.
Maintain awareness of current sales promotions and store promotions.
Keep merchandise presentation organized and well-stocked; ensure clean and orderly areas.
Develop product knowledge and fitting skills; assist with sizing and recommendations.
Support loss prevention efforts and participate in inventory/shipping activities.
Process sales with accuracy through POS and ensure correct checkout procedures.
