Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level, full-time Retail Sales Associate in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves greeting customers, processing sales and loans, and delivering a positive shopping experience in our pawn store locations.

The position offers an hourly wage of $10.00 to $13.00 with a commission opportunity of up to 8% on transactions, plus a benefits package including Earned Wage Access and other perks. Training and weekend availability are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
