Job summary

The United States Naval Academy Business Services Division is recruiting a Sales Associate to support Brigade Services and deliver friendly customer service to midshipmen. This role covers POS transactions, inventory, and merchandising across NABSD stores, with 8‑hour shifts and Fridays required.

Candidates should have 1 year of general work experience or 2 years of education beyond high school, plus a team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic. Training provided by NABSD.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year general work experience or 2 years education beyond high school.
• Front-facing customer service experience required; service industry preferred.
• Experience handling POS systems and cash handling.
• Ability to work in a team and resolve issues.
• Hands-on duties including operating crafting/engraving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service and drive daily sales.
• Process sales, returns, and handle POS transactions securely.
• Assist in stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks.
• Support NABSD retail outlets and special orders.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.
