Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Merchandiser for Davidson Specialty Foods to keep local grocery shelves stocked and displays fresh across an assigned territory.

You will travel daily to partner stores, assist with display setups, reset shelves, and pack orders while following planograms and deadlines. This full-time role includes paid training, weekly pay, travel and mileage reimbursement, tuition assistance, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills, including operations with whole numbers.
• Ability to handle customer conversations professionally and solicit feedback.
• Willingness to travel to assigned stores.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores in assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory.

Job Description

Pay - $19 - $21/hr (Based on relevant experience) Job Type - Full-Time Territory – Waterbury, CT & Western CT: Southbury, Naugatuck, Newtown, Southington, Bristol) Not limited to Wilton, New Milford, & New Fairfield. w/ 10% travel to Central CT & Northwest Schedule 5-day work week (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays) Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates
