Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser for Davidson Specialty Foods to ensure local grocery stores are stocked and displays are current. You will travel daily within Waterbury, CT and Western CT to set up, reset, and stock shelves according to planograms.

The role requires walking, driving, and flexible hours (including weekends/holidays). Paid training, weekly pay, and travel reimbursements are included, with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• General Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Basic math skills for daily transactions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets.

As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will become a key part of ensuring that local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue to supply their consumers.

Job Description

• Pay - $19 - $21/hr (Based on relevant experience)

• Job Type - Full-Time

• Territory – Waterbury, CT & Western CT: Southbury, Naugatuck, Newtown, Southington, Bristol) Not limited to Wilton, New Milford, & New Fairfield. w/ 10% travel to Central CT & Northwest

Schedule

• 5 - day work week (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays)

• Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory

• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product

• Packing out grocery orders when needed

• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly

• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves

• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates

• The nature of the role requires transportation to get to and from work
