Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser for Davidson Specialty Foods to help ensure local grocery stores are stocked and ready to serve customers. This full-time role includes daily travel within the New York City area to stores, assisting with displays, and packing orders as needed.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ($19–$21) and benefits. A 5-day work week with flexible start times, travel reimbursement, and tuition assistance are included.

• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations and respond promptly.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays of product.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.

Job Description

Pay - $19 - $21/hr

Job Type - Full-Time

Territory – New York City - Brooklyn & Queens, NY

Schedule 5-day work week- (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays) Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates
