The Retail Sales Manager is a key member of the North American sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and brand presence within the retail segment. This role focuses on building and managing strategic customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, and collaborating cross-functionally to align with Armacell’s North American Strategic Plan.

This is a remote-based position, with a preference for candidates located in the East Coast region, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, or the Chicago, Illinois area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by developing and managing key retail accounts, ensuring alignment with segment budget and profit targets.

  • Execute the national sales strategy to exceed retail sales objectives.

  • Analyze market trends and competitors to recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability.

  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and negotiate tailored programs to grow share within retail and distribution partners.

  • Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders to uncover needs and expand product offerings.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional programs in line with retail channel strategy.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines and stay current with industry developments through trade shows and market research.

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute retail-focused brand campaigns and product launches.

  • Ensure retail initiatives and operations comply with applicable regulations and quality standards.

  • Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders.

  • Serve as the primary contact for retail merchant teams or rep agencies, ensuring consistent communication and execution of business priorities.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven success in retail sales and account management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience required with retail industry knowledge preferred.

  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.

  • Experience developing and executing business plans and retail strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product development.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving revenue and margin goals.

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%; valid driver’s license required.

Posting Dates

June 4, 2025 - June 19, 2025.

The expected compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 -$120,000.00.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
