Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. seeks a Sales and Management Intern in Bloomington, IN, to learn Buckle’s retail operations by performing sales, merchandising, and daily tasks under store management. You will gain hands-on experience with cashiering, displays, and POS procedures while delivering excellent guest service.

Work closely with the Store Manager to understand Buckle’s business, develop leadership skills, and contribute to a positive store environment during the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
• No prior experience or training may be required for internship entry.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service duties include greeting guests, answering questions, and helping locate merchandise.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and educate teammates to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and price markdowns to maximize sales.
• Open and close cash registers and perform POS tasks.
• Support Visual Merchandise Management and Operations tasks as needed.
• Complete Internship Duties such as orientation, progress reports, and leadership development activities.
