Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Sales and Management Intern to support store operations, sales, merchandising, and customer service.

The role focuses on learning Buckle's retail processes and working closely with the Store Manager to understand how the business operates and how to excel in leadership. Interns participate in Sales Generation, Guest Service, Visual Merchandising, and Operations tasks while developing skills in recruitment, training, and performance tracking.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate Guest needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour and net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service across front, floor, fitting rooms, and register areas.
• Assist Guests with fittings, checkout, and bagging purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations and manage returns/exchanges.

Education
