Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager to lead store operations, champion a high-performing selling culture, and drive customer-focused results. You will oversee front-end service, POS systems, and omni-channel fulfillment while coaching a team for consistent execution of brand standards.

In this role you’ll sponsor the Loyalty Rewards Program, manage events and classes, and ensure adherence to SOPs. Strong leadership and availability for nights/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and move throughout the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to meet KPIs and uphold store standards.
• Coach team on customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversions.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage and ensure smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote and enroll customers in Loyalty Rewards Program and protection plans.
• Train and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing coaching.
