Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Leader to support the Store Leadership Team by managing Leader on Duty shifts and delivering a stellar guest experience. You will drive daily operations, train and motivate associates, and champion AEO values with an authentic, customer-first approach.

You will lead by example on service standards, recruit talent, coach performance, and ensure visual/operational excellence on the sales floor and in fitting rooms.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead retail teams and improve store performance
• Strong focus on delivering a best-in-class guest experience
• Experience in recruiting, training and developing associates
• Ability to coach in real time and drive KPI results

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty.
• Motivate and inspire team while ensuring service standards are met across salesfloor and fitting room.
• Recruit, hire and train strong talent to maintain adequate staffing for business needs.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching and celebrate top performers.
• Execute daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing and merchandising moves to keep fitting rooms guest-ready.
• Maintain store safety and asset protection in line with policies and procedures.
