Job summary

Victra - Verizon Authorized Retailer is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a store team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and ensure merchandising aligns with brand standards.

You will foster a high-performance environment, set and track targets, and develop team members to reach their full potential. Roles include oversight during GM absence, staffing decisions, and executing store initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor and coach team to reach targets.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly goals with sales teams and monitor performance.
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Manage store operations, inventory, and merchandising to support sales.
• Ensure store uptime, safety, and compliance; coordinate with Facilities/Network/IT as needed.
