Job summary

The Coast Guard Exchange is offering a Sales Clerk Leader role in Miami Beach, a full-time position (30-40 hrs/wk) with the mission to support the heroes who safeguard our shores.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring smooth store operations, including cash handling and supervision when needed. Weekend work is required, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise.
• React to customer concerns with urgency and provide outstanding service in goods selection.
• Oversee operations of the sales department, may order merchandise, price and monitor stock levels.
• Assist management with training and cash register operations, handle cash and reconcile tills.
• Direct/supervise other employees and manage store in absence of management.
• Follow Loss Prevention policies and safety standards; work weekends.
