Job summary

EXPRESS is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our Chicago-area store. You will drive daily store operations, coach associates, and deliver outstanding in-store experiences for customers.

Responsibilities include developing staff, managing checkout, stockroom, and omni-channel activities, and ensuring coverage during nights and weekends. Prior retail experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in retail.
• Proficient with iPad and POS registers.
• Availability nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Meets physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Provide coaching to store associates to ensure efficient operations and customer service.
• Oversee checkout experience and store operations.
• Support merchandise flow, including shipments and replenishment.
• Build effective schedules and promote great in-store experiences.
• Resolve customer service issues to positive outcomes.
