Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a Sales Lead in Smithfield, NC to support store leadership, drive sales, and deliver the brand experience. You will supervise teams, model exemplary service, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The role emphasizes coaching, product knowledge, and a customer-centric culture that aligns with the brand’s hospitality standards. Regular/Part time hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
