Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Deerfield, IL is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, and Stearns & Foster products. You will help manage daily store operations, assist the Store Manager, and uphold the Tempur Sealy brand through professional appearance and polished sales processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' retail experience with high-end luxury or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train store staff.
• Familiar with current retail methods, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborative, able to both lead and follow.
• Flexible schedule to meet store hours.
• Fluent in retail software / computer systems.
• Standing for long periods and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for overall store performance.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including service and care, appearance, policies, and brand.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Resolve issues within the sales team and escalate larger problems to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
