OVERVIEW:

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards as well as the teammate experience. With the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their business/department. The Lead focuses on delivering the best service to our customers and providing direction to teammates. Their ability to lead by example, be empathetic, relentless in adversity, optimistic, and collaborative distinguishes them.

  1. Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  2. Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster mutual trust, respect, and contribute to a strong store recognition culture.
  3. Plans, organizes, and controls 30-days out with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager, including building an effective approach and aligning on workforce needs to execute daily assignments, game plans, projects, or store events.
  4. Strategically leverages teammates to ensure brand standards are met, programs and processes are executed daily, and tasks are delegated based on priority.
  5. Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
  6. Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Assists with training teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new teammates and cross-training current teammates.
  8. Prioritizes coaching and developing oneself and others; provides hands-on coaching and teaches the “why” behind tasks, plans, and processes.
  9. Leads by example to support the organization’s vision by helping teammates understand how their responsibilities align with organizational goals and delivering a hassle-free shopping experience.
  10. Creates an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  11. Adheres to policies related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, maintaining confidentiality of all company information.
  12. Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
  13. Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Golf experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder, aerial lift, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously).
