Job summary

Staples is looking for Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You and the team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service while actively engaging customers to provide total solutions.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• 1+ year of experience selling retail products or services.
• Able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication, organization, and adaptability.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Physical ability to lift/move 10–50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to drive customer service, sales, and conversions.
• Lead store team to deliver exceptional store experience and consultative selling.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role and guide team to deliver great customer experience.
• Support company initiatives and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks within the store.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Coach team on behaviors to win through role playing and feedback.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
