Job summary

Soma in Lexington, KY is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold our brand standards. You will create a welcoming, customer-centered environment and guide associates to deliver memorable shopping experiences.

As a role model on the sales floor, you’ll coach team members, manage daily operations, and support scheduling, cash handling, and inventory. The position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays and a minimum 18 years old.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
