Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model a welcoming, customer-centered culture that goes beyond transactions. You will set the tone for achieving team goals, provide clear direction, and support leadership responsibilities as needed.

You will coach team members, manage operations, and ensure adherence to brand standards while delivering memorable customer experiences across the Soma network.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general operations and opening/closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approaches.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Run cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current promotions and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.
