Job summary

KnitWell Group’s Soma store in Carmel, IN is seeking a Sales Lead who partners with store leaders to supervise the team, set the tone, and support leadership responsibilities. You’ll model a welcoming, customer-centered environment and help deliver memorable shopping experiences that reflect our hospitality culture.

You will coach and develop teammates, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure brand standards while handling cash, scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
