Soma in South Barrington, IL is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and support leadership duties. You will set the tone for a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects our culture of hospitality.

You will coach staff, manage operations, and execute cash handling, scheduling, and inventory while maintaining product knowledge and an omni-channel approach. Opportunities for advancement exist within KnitWell Group.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge.
• Coach and encourage the team to meet performance goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable on promotions and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Contribute ideas to store leadership and foster teamwork.
