The Salvation Army Southern California (Old Pasadena Thrift Store) is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Merchandiser to warmly greet customers and donors, stock and merchandise items, maintain a clean and organized store, and enforce POS policies with a focus on safety and accuracy. Flexible schedule across 7 days, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include receiving stock, inspecting items for quality, assisting donors with item removal, and supporting monthly meetings.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers and donors.

Responsabilités

• Greeting customers and donors with courtesy and providing prompt assistance.
• Stocking priced items and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Maintaining store and donation area cleanliness and organization; perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Following POS/Cash Register policies in line with TSA Procedures.
• Maintaining safety and compliance standards.
• Attending monthly store meetings.
• Receiving, unloading, and stocking incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Inspecting products for defects and damages to provide quality assurance.
• Assisting donors with removing donated items from vehicles and providing receipts.
• Sorting donated material into proper containers and stacking as instructed.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Management.
