Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Pasadena is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Merchandise Handler for our Alhambra thrift store. This on-site role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, processing donations, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.

You'll work with a team to promote Do The Most Good, handle POS transactions, and ensure safety and organization. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors, provide genuine, prompt and courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items ready to be merchandised on the sales floor.
• Maintain store and donation area cleanliness and organization; perform cleaning duties as assigned.
