Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Beaverton, OR is hiring for a part-time Sales Floor Associate. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, maintain planograms, participate in SISO and AD sets, and support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS. Candidates with retail or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
