Job summary

The Michaels Companies, CORVALLIS, OR, is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and execute planograms while supporting Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred. The role requires standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and occasional early mornings, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around a store environment.
• Willingness to participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards.
• Engage customers on Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes and merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink control and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
