Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) is seeking a part-time Sales Associate in Pensacola, FL. You will be the face of the company, delivering premier customer service and helping customers identify products and services that meet their needs.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, guiding them to merchandise, processing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Availability for varied hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of products/merchandise.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; read, write and interpret simple instructions.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to multi-task, work with customers, and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about events and promotions.
• Provide premier customer service.
• Maintain store appearance and arrange stock accurately.
• Cross-sell products and know store layout.
• Suggest products based on customer needs and trends.
• Learn product features and use company tools to provide knowledge.
• Handle POS transactions and cash handling accurately.
