The Children’s Place in West New York, New Jersey is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and maintain exceptional customer service and product knowledge. You will help with presentation, replenishment, and backroom organization to meet company standards.

Key responsibilities include engaging customers, promoting promotions, handling stock, and ensuring accurate signage while adhering to loss prevention and safety guidelines. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing help to customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Explain merchandise value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact store conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and explain the PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Keep a neat, clean stockroom and a customer-ready environment with safety in mind.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect assets by adhering to loss-prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
• Be flexible in processing stock when needed.
