The Children’s Place in Jackson, New Jersey is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service with strong product knowledge and effective selling techniques, while maintaining merchandise presentation and a clean store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, managing stock and signage, and operating the cashwrap.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service and selling.
• Greet customers and provide the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with good judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to improve conversion.
• Operate cashwrap and explain PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size and style representation.
• Follow visual merchandising and sign standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and safe; support a ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping per company standards.
• Protect assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance issues to Store Leadership.
• Contribute toward store goals through focused effort.
• Process stock efficiently as needed.
