Job summary

Orvis is seeking a dynamic Retail Guide to welcome customers and partner with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding service. You will learn Orvis products, engage shoppers with authentic recommendations, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will help with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards while representing the brand with energy and care for customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Friendly and inviting personality; ability to build relationships and create a fun, energetic store vibe.
• Deliver world-class customer service through empathy, critical thinking, and customer centricity.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Orvis products and services; engage customers and suggest products authentically.

• Creativity and visual merchandising skills are a plus.

Seeking a dynamic Retail Guide who appreciates the outdoor lifestyle and enjoys outfitting customers for great adventures. Working alongside the Store Manager and Lead Retail Guide, you will:

• Create a store atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive
• Serve as a brand ambassador and lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment
• Demonstrate our core values of surprising and delighting our customer, taking pride in our product, and protecting what we love

• Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of Orvis products and services, engage customers and to suggest product in an authentic and helpful manner

• Ability to handle ambiguity, use sound judgement, and solve problems for customers

• Utilizing time between customers to enhance store presentation through merchandising, maintaining standards, and restocking
• Ability to reach, move, and handle merchandise in high and low areas, lift up to 30 pounds, and the stamina to execute floor sets
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workspace by following all safety policies and procedures
