FirstCash, Inc. is seeking part-time sales associates for pawn store locations across the United States. As a Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate, you'll provide excellent customer service while processing transactions related to sales and loans. Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.

Commission Plan Information

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive detailed commission incentive plan information during the interview.
