Job summary

Goodwill NLA is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver friendly customer service, process transactions, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will assist customers, stock shelves, support merchandise rotation, and follow safety and loss-prevention procedures while contributing to revenue goals and community programs.

Strong communication and basic math skills are essential. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required; a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer-service experience preferred but not required.
• Successful background check and agency screenings as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers with courteous service throughout the shopping and checkout experience.
• Accurately processes cash, credit/debit, and other transactions using the POS system.
• Stock shelves, recover merchandise, and ensure presentable displays and clean store areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report suspicious activity; support donations and store operations as needed.
