Job summary

Citi Trends, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain merchandise knowledge to drive satisfaction. You will engage with customers, uphold store policies, and support a positive work culture while assisting with change management efforts within the retail team.

The role emphasizes proactive service, integrity, effective communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment. This position reports to Store Management.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to policy.
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Assist with loss prevention and shoplifting prevention and reporting.
• Assist with merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Provide customer service including greeting customers and adhering to fitting room policies.
