Job summary

The Children’s Place in Arlington, VA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and delivering exceptional customer service. You will use product knowledge and current promotions to assist customers and maintain merchandise presentation, stock, and cleanliness across the store.

You will greet customers, address inquiries, and ensure accurate handling at the cashwrap, while contributing to store goals and loss prevention.

• Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts
• Ability to maneuver on sales floor and stockroom; climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Support Store Leadership Team to achieve company goals and initiatives
• Model and maintain excellent customer service with effective communication and product knowledge
• Maintain standards of merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap
• Maintain neat, clean stockroom and adhere to safety requirements
• Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly
• Contribute towards achievement of store goals
• Process stock efficiently when necessary
