The Children’s Place in Danbury, CT is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and delivering outstanding customer service. You will help maintain merchandise presentation and stock, assist customers, and operate the cashwrap with awareness of current promotions.

Flexible scheduling, weekend/evening availability, and a team-oriented attitude are required. This role emphasizes safety, loss prevention, and a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and promote current promotions.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards of presentation, signage, and display.
• Maintain a neat, clean stockroom and safe environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance and facility needs to Store Leadership.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, organized efforts.
• Process stock as needed.
