Job summary

The Children's Place is seeking a Sales Associate in Fairview Heights, IL to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving goals. You will model excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques while maintaining merchandise presentation and a clean store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, addressing concerns, driving conversions, and assisting at the cashwrap. Must be 18+, with retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service level.
• Communicate value of merchandise and promotions; resolve out-of-stock issues.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Sell effectively to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at cashwrap and promote PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow standards for presentation, signage and display; keep stockroom neat.
• Support loss prevention and ensure a safe store environment.
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals and be willing to process stock as needed.
