Job summary

The Children’s Place in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will provide excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques to help customers find the right items.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, replenish stock, and keep the store and backroom neat and safe. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and call-in shifts is required; applicants must be 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and promote current promotions
• Follow Loss Prevention procedures to protect company assets
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented
• Keep the stockroom neat, clean and organized and ensure a customer-ready environment
