Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to company policy.
• Bag merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handle all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtain management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Handle maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide proper customer service such as greeting customers, guiding fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly and thanking them for shopping with us.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising sales floor according to stock level.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Support Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting suspected theft.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
