Lowe's in California is seeking a motivated Retail Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly service across the store. You will assist customers with locating merchandise, restock shelves, prepare department items, process orders, and participate in cross-training to ensure top-notch customer experience.

This role requires basic computer and mobile tech usage, simple math, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform job duties.
• Minimum lifting 25 lbs unassisted or 25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves in empty areas.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
