Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain product knowledge in a busy in-store setting. You will engage with customers, process transactions, and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

You should be reliable, able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and comfortable handling cash, returns, and merchandise processing. Training and growth opportunities are available within Store Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Handles maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing customers in, and thanking them.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Responsible for assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
