Job summary

The Children's Place in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and achieve company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and utilize current promotions to drive sales.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining merchandise presentation, stocking, and processing transactions at the cashwrap while ensuring a clean, safe store environment and adherence to loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value of merchandise and promotions, and resolve out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashier service and educate about the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow visual standards for merchandise presentation, signage and display.
• Keep stockroom neat and maintain a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Contribute toward store goals and be flexible with stock processing.
