Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Sales Associate - Ladies at Little Creek to be the face of our brand and provide outstanding customer service. You will assist customers, explain product features, and help them find items while representing a professional image.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, cross-selling, maintaining store appearance, handling POS transactions, and supporting inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
• Ability to communicate with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform about promotions and STAR card.
• Maintain store appearance and organization.
• Cross-sell and upsell products; know store layout.
• Operate Point-of-Sale system and process transactions.
• Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliations.
• Be custodian of inventory and participate in inventories.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule and be dependable.
