Job summary

The Children’s Place in Valley Stream, NY is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, use effective communication and product knowledge, and employ selling techniques to maximize sales.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing while keeping the store and backroom neat, safe, and customer-ready.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Leadership Team to achieve company goals.
• Provide fast, friendly service and assist customers.
• Explain promotions and merchandise benefits to customers.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing.
• Keep a clean store and backroom, including stockroom upkeep.
• Assist with cashwrap transactions and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Contribute to store goals and adapt to changing priorities.
